Pure Mathematics - Develops your understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and techniques, forming the foundation of the Further Maths course.

Proof, complex numbers, matrices, further algebra and functions, further calculus, further vectors, polar coordinates, hyperbolic functions, differential equations.

Decision - This module introduces algorithms and problem-solving strategies used in computing, logistics, and operational planning—perfect for those curious about how maths powers modern systems.

Covers algorithms, graph theory, linear programming, and critical path analysis.

Further Mechanics - Ideal for students interested in physics or engineering, this module explores the mathematical principles behind motion, forces, and energy.

Includes momentum, circular motion, centres of mass, and energy principles.

The full A-level qualification is assessed through four exam papers, each lasting 1.5 hours.

Paper 4: Further Mechanics

All exam papers are calculator-allowed, each contributes 25% of your final grade, and a formulae booklet is provided during the exam to support your working.
