Wellbeing Committee

What is the Wellbeing Committee?

The Wellbeing Committee is a student-led group that focuses on improving the mental health, emotional wellbeing and overall school experience of Sixth Form students.

Who can join and when do they meet?

Anyone in Year 12 or 13 can join the committee. Meetings are held each term and students have an opportunity to  plan activities, promote wellbeing awareness, listen to student needs and act as a link between students and staff.

Why is it important?

1. Promotes Awareness & Understanding
Students are helped to have conversations about mental health. This builds resilience and encourages open dialogue about wellbeing across the sixth form community.

2. Provides Peer-Led Support
Events are run by students, for students.

3. Encourages a Supportive Culture
Ensures all students feel safe, cared for and heard.

4. Gives Students a Voice
The committee gathers feedback from students about how they are feeling, what stresses they face (e.g., exams, friendships) and what changes might help.
