The School Site

Our school opened in 1965. The site has seen many developments to accommodate growing numbers. We have:

• classrooms, specialist labs, IT suites, art and drama studios;

• generous playing fields, an all-weather pitch, a sports hall and fitness suite;

• a number of larger halls, The Olive Grove (dining facilities).

It is a busy site, housing over 1700 people during the school day.  There is a secure facility for cycles and electric charging points. Safety is paramount and the single entry to the site is monitored and gated.  

Accessibility 

We have a number of different buildings on site which extend over 4 floors.

A priority is to ensure our site is as accessible as it can be in line with the Equality Act 2010. We conduct accessibility surveys with external consultants. These help us to identify obstacles to access and to remove or mitigate them wherever possible.
