Homework

Studying away from the classroom is an important way to reinforce learning.

We place value on the following purposes for homework:

  • engendering a love of learning and curiosity;

  • enabling students to develop good habits of independence, responsibility, organisation and commitment;

  • supporting students to increase knowledge and develop skills;

  • strengthening the home-school partnership by providing an opportunity for parents or carers to engage in the curriculum studied by our students;

  • consolidating key learning.
