16-19 Bursary Fund

The Government's 16 - 19 Bursary Fund is set up to help students in the Sixth Form who are the most financially disadvantaged to be able to stay in education. (The "Pupil Premium" ceases at 16.)  

The bursary is money that you or school can use to pay for things like clothing, books and other equipment for your courses, or transport and lunch.

The bursary supports students in defined vulnerable groups.  They can receive yearly bursaries of up to £1200 and/or discretionary payments to help with financial hardship.
