Life & Ethics
All KS5 students at Bishop Stopford, study RE as part of the Life and Ethics course.
These RE lessons give students the opportunity to:

Discuss current issues that impact our society

Develop their understanding of other worldviews (both religious and non-religious) and their own worldview

Appreciate the complexities and diversity of our society

Foster and deploy the skills needed to understand, interpret and evaluate texts, sources of wisdom and authority and other evidence

Refine other important academic skills, including knowledge, application, analytical and evaluative skills, reflection, empathy, collaboration and spiritual, moral and cultural understanding.
